This appointment is a group session (limited to 5 participants), to help those of you with tinnitus to relax. Quite often there is some anxiety around tinnitus and we forget to breathe well and tense up. During this session we will explore different breathing techniques and work on relaxation. We also have an 'Understanding Tinnitus' appointment which can be booked alongside this session where we explore tinnitus in a bit more detail.

If you feel that you might be straining to hear and it's unlikely you have age-related hearing loss, then this short screening appointment can help give you a baseline to work with. Please note that this is a screening check and not a full hearing assessment, therefore, it doesn't include history taking or report writing, which may be necessary. You will be advised if a full check is indicated and if there is time on the day, this will be completed for the full charge (£65). I would like to invite you for a repeat hearing test as it has been approximately a year since your last hearing assessment. This appointment will include ear examination, an update on your medical history and a review of your hearing aids. This two day course is specifically tailored to provide training on microsuction wax removal for adults. It is intended for audiologists, hearing aid dispensers, GPs, and nurses, with prior experience handling patients requiring ear care. All attendees must be registered with a relevant governing body, such as the HCPC, and be adequately insured to offer microsuction as a procedure within their service i.e. your insurer must state on your policy details that you are insured to perform microsuction.
